My name is Tracy Aniwaa Ansah , and this blog is a reflection that shares my personal journey through Coders Who Travel Inc. (CWT) [ also known as The Coders Who Travel Foundation ]. Throughout this program, I have taken part in activities that helped me grow both academically and personally. Each stage—from creating my resume to building my LinkedIn profile—taught me something meaningful about myself and the professional world I am preparing for.

Creating my resume was the first major step. Before this, I had never paid much attention to how personal details and achievements should be presented. Through the process, I learnt how to organize my information properly and communicate who I am in a simple but professional way. It made me realize how important it is to present yourself clearly and confidently.

After completing the first draft, I received feedback that helped me understand what needed improvement. Going through the critique process taught me to look closely at my own work and make necessary changes. It reminded me that no matter how good something seems, it can always be improved with patience and careful review.

Preparing for interviews was another important part of my journey. At first, speaking about myself felt a little challenging, but with practice I became more confident. I learnt how to express my strengths clearly and how to answer questions calmly and thoughtfully. This experience reminded me that preparation builds confidence and makes a big difference.

Designing my presentation was also a valuable experience. I learnt how to combine visuals, colours, and information in a way that keeps the audience interested. Working on the slides helped me understand that presentation is not only about what you say, but how you show it. This improved both my creativity and confidence.

As part of my CWT journey, I learnt to create a mind map that outlined my achievements, where I am now, and the key milestones that have shaped my growth. Mapping everything out visually helped me appreciate how far I’ve come—from the small wins that built my confidence to the major breakthroughs that pushed me forward. It also gave me a clearer picture of my current stage in life and the goals I’m actively working toward. This reflection strengthened my blog by grounding it in my real progress and showing how each achievement connects to my development in CWT and beyond.

Writing this blog brought all my learning experiences together. It allowed me to reflect on everything I had done and express my thoughts in a clear and organized way. Putting everything into words helped me appreciate how much I have grown throughout the program.

Overall, my experience in Coders Who Travel (CWT) has helped me develop skills that will benefit me in school, work, and everyday life. I have become more confident, more organized, and more aware of how to present myself professionally. Each activity played an important role in shaping my growth.

I express my sincere appreciation to Mrs. Nah-Abiah A. , Angela Azumah Alu, PhD , and Ms. Afia Owusu-Forfie for their dedication, mentorship, and support throughout the CWT program. Their guidance has played a significant role in shaping my learning experience and strengthening my academic development.
