My experience at Coders Who Travel meetings has been both educational and impactful, especially as someone who is new to the business and working world. The program has introduced me to several important skills and concepts that are not only useful for students, but also valuable for future careers and professional development.
One of the most helpful things I have learned so far is how to create a proper CV and resume. Before joining, I did not fully understand how important these documents are or how they should be structured to leave a strong impression.
I also learned useful interview techniques, including how to present myself confidently, answer questions effectively, and communicate professionally. These are skills that many students may overlook at first, but they are extremely important in preparing for future opportunities.
Beyond the technical and professional lessons, the experience has also helped me better understand the expectations of the working environment and the importance of personal growth, communication, and preparation.
Each session has provided practical advice that I know will benefit me in the future, whether in academics, internships, or future jobs.
Overall, my time at Coders Who Travel has been enjoyable, insightful, and inspiring. I appreciate the opportunity to learn from experienced individuals and gain knowledge that will help me both now and in the years ahead. I look forward to the upcoming lessons and experiences the program has to offer.
