How The Excel In Your Career Bootcamp Changed My Perspective?

When I first joined the Excel In Your Career Bootcamp, I was honestly in a confusing phase of my life. I had a lot of ambitions, but I wasn’t really sure about the direction I wanted to take. My career path, my goals, even what I should focus on next, all felt a bit unclear at the time.

(Because I was suffering from chronic overthinking)

I also realised I was constantly overthinking things. I would question whether I was making the right decisions or if I was doing enough. It made simple things feel more complicated than they needed to be (Like creating this blog, for instance).

‎

Learning Experience

As I went through the bootcamp, I started learning things that went beyond just tasks and assignments. I had to present ideas, complete deliverables, and stay consistent even when I didn’t feel fully confident.

One thing I noticed about myself is that I could actually manage my time better than I thought. It wasn’t perfect, but when I made an effort to plan properly and focus, I saw improvement. That alone surprised me a bit.

(Understatement, it surprised me a lot)

I also learned that growth doesn’t really come from thinking too much about what to do, but from actually doing the work and learning along the way.

‎

Challenges Faced

One of my biggest challenges was definitely overthinking. Sometimes I would spend too much time in my head instead of just starting the work.

(And hence, why I couldn't even submit some deliverables on time).

It made me doubt myself more than necessary.

Another challenge was balancing everything at once. Even though I could manage my time, there were still moments when deadlines and tasks felt like a lot. But I learned how to push through instead of stopping.

Growth and Future Direction

Looking back, I feel like this experience helped me understand myself better. Not just in terms of skills, but how I think, how I react under pressure, and how I handle responsibility.

It also made me more interested in areas like technology, creativity, and design. I’m starting to think more seriously about paths that connect to user experience, problem-solving, and building things that actually help people.

‎

Conclusion

Overall, I’m really grateful for this experience. It wasn’t always easy, and I definitely had moments of confusion and self-doubt, but I can see real growth in how I think and work now. It feels like a meaningful step forward in figuring out my direction.
