Growing Through Career Coaching: My Ongoing Journey with Coders Who Travel Inc.

Since mid-June, I ( Victoria Asiedu ) have been part of an ongoing career coaching program with Coders Who Travel, and already, it has been one of the most transformative learning experiences of my professional journey.

This isn’t just a career class—it’s a space where ambition meets clarity, and where global-minded professionals are empowered to take bold, intentional steps toward their dream roles.

Facilitated by the inspiring leadership of Afia Owusu-Forfie , Dr. Angela Azumah Alu, PhD , and Nah-Abiah A. , each session has offered deep, practical insight into how we can present ourselves more intentionally and effectively in today’s competitive job market.
One of the most valuable takeaways so far has been understanding how to adapt and tailor a resume for different opportunities. It’s no longer just about listing experiences—it's about telling a clear, focused story that speaks directly to the role you're aiming for.

Our sessions on interview preparation have been equally eye-opening. From mastering the dos and don’ts to developing the confidence to speak with clarity and authenticity, I’ve gained tools I know I’ll carry with me for years to come.

We’ve also taken a deep dive into LinkedIn optimization, learning how to create a compelling presence that draws the right connections and reflects both our potential and our purpose.

And what excites me most is—we’re not done. With topics like mind mapping and cover letter writing still to come, the journey continues. This program is more than instruction—it's transformation in real time.

Above all, I’m grateful for the supportive, global-minded community that The Coders Who Travel Foundation fosters. In this space, we grow together. We’re reminded that professional growth isn’t just about ticking boxes—it’s about showing up fully, with intention, vision, and the right guidance.
